Carl M. Oliver

Carl Michael Oliver was born on July 5, 1953 in Clarksville, Texas. He moved to Wichita Falls at the age of 5.  He attended Booker T. Washington School and graduated from Rider High School in 1971.
He loved his family to the utmost and never missed anyone’s birthday. Before he ended a phone call with those dear he would say, “I Love You”. Carl will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. 
He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and was baptized under the leadership of Rev. R.L. Castle. In the last year he had been studying with the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Carl was preceded in death by his mother; Louise OIiver, nephew; Gavin Oliver, Jr. and niece; Cynthia K. Davis.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his sons; Carl M. Oliver, Jr. (Michelle), Anthony Oliver (Amber), eight grandchildren, his brothers; James Oliver (Barbara) of Dayton, OH., Gavin Oliver, Oakland, CA., his sisters; Anita Kimbel of Wichita Falls, Mary Mimms (James) of Electra, TX., eight nieces, two nephews, his special love; Phyllis, special nephews in law and a host of great nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
