Ursula Renelle (Greer) Cotton

Ursula Renelle Greer-Cotton was born on December 5, 1970 to the parentage of Joseph H. Greer, Sr. and Gwendolyn Greer in Wichita Falls, Texas.
She attended public school in Wichita Falls graduating from Wichita Falls High School, Class of 1989. Ursula attended Avalon Vocational Technical Institute for Medical Coding. She was a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, where she loved singing in the Junior Choir and was a part of the Usher Board and Starlight Band. 
Her beautiful smile and the way she would say things kept us all laughing. Ursula’s caring heart was just one of her many beautiful attributes and she shared an Agape love for all of her grandchildren.
Ursula married Victor Palmer, Sr. on June 21, 1989. They still remained the best of friends. This union was blessed with two children; Victor Palmer, Jr. and Shanovia Palmer. 
Ursula was preceded in death by her father; Joseph H. Greer, Sr., her step father; Michael Mitchell, her grandparents; Catherine Greer, Mamie L. Smith and Cornelius Smith, Sr., her great grandparents; Ike and Bessie L. Taylor, her brothers; Joseph H. Greer, Jr., and Victor L. Greer. Her aunts; Martha Williams, Janice Cook, Bertha Nelson, her uncle’s; Robert Williams, Ben Carter, Cornelius Smith, Jr., Joe Lee Nelson, Lamont Taylor and Gary Cook, Sr. Her Grandchildren; Julian Palmer and Imani Palmer.

Ursula leaves to cherish her beautiful memories her two beautiful blessings; Victor Palmer, Jr. and Shanovia Palmer (Marvin Eden, Jr.) her god daughter; Alizay Anderson. Her mother; Gwendolyn Mitchell, her sisters; Sonya Greer, Vicki Greer, sister in law; Tammy Patton, her spouse; T. Cotton. Her dearest grandchildren; Jaylyn, U’Mara, Cam’ronn, Aiden, Zae’Dyn, Zakia, Ja’Kayden and Kash. Her aunts; Jacquelyn Davis, Sharon (Miles) McPherson and Zenell Smith, her uncle’s; Jerry Smith, Ronald Thomas (Alice). A host of Special Cousins that were raised as brothers and sisters, Ursula’s adores (Nieces/Nephews); Karissa, Randon, Deonte, Serentti and Alize. Also a host of nieces, nephews and very special friends that she truly loved.
