Shirley Jane Roberts
December 17, 1949 – March 16, 2025
With deep sorrow and love, we announce the passing of Shirley Jane Roberts, who left this world on March 16, 2025, surrounded by her cherished family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Roberts, her son, Albert Roberts II and her grandson Wesley Moser. While their loss was deeply felt, Shirley’s love and strength carried on, creating a lasting legacy of kindness, resilience, and devotion to family.
Shirley was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her loving daughters, Trina Thomas (husband Sid Thomas) and Traci Perez. She was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother. Trina’s children: Dustin, Rusty, Whitney, Nathan, and Aaron; and Traci’s children: Jessica, Joshua, and Dylan. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to fifteen wonderful great-grandchildren, She is also survived by her dear brother, Robert Burk who was by her side until the end. His children, Ginger, Stefanie, Jodi, Stoney, Robin, and Shawn. Lastly, she left
behind her beloved dog Dusti and her adored grand puppies, Brutus, Zoe, and Grey—all of whom brought her endless joy and companionship.
A private celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at a later date in Vernon, TX.
Though Shirley is no longer physically with us, her love, warmth, and unwavering spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her. Her presence brought comfort, and her wisdom and strength provided guidance to those who needed it most.
Shirley’s legacy will live on through her family, the love she so freely gave, and the many happy memories she created. Whether it’s the sound of her laughter, the warmth of her embrace, or the unconditional love she shared with both people and animals, she
will never be forgotten. Though we grieve her loss, we also celebrate a life beautifully lived and a soul that left an indelible mark on the world.
She will be dearly missed, lovingly remembered, and forever treasured
