Pastor Isaac Pringle (MSGT Ret.) Obituary

Pastor Isaac Solomon Pringle was born on October 11, 1950 in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Willie and Ida Pringle. He moved from Sumter, South Carolina to Winter Garden, Florida. Shortly after, he gave his life unto the Lord during a revival at Winter Garden Church of God in Christ. He graduated from Jones High School, Orlando, Florida and moved to New York where he worked in a fashion designer factory in Manhattan, New York.
He furthered his education receiving an Associate degree from the Community College of the Air Force, a Bachelor of Business Administration  from Wayland Baptist University and a Bachelor Degree from the International Seminary with concentration in Practical Theology. He was an anointed preacher, filled with the Holy Ghost and loved to preach and teach the unadulterated word of God.
Proverbs 18:22 states, “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.” On October 14, 1972 he married the love of his life, Patricia (Watterson) Pringle in Columbus, Ohio while on his first duty station at Lockbourne AFB. This union was blessed with three wonderful children; Kacey, Shaun, Greg and one daughter-in-law, Tiffany and four grandsons, Micah, Jaden, Noah and Jaxson.
On October 21, 1970 he enlisted in the United States Air Force in New York. His military service career spanned over 24 years. During his active duty he received many awards, medals and decorations such as: AF Commendation Medal with three oak leaf clusters; AF Achievement Medal with one oak leaf cluster; AF Outstanding Unit Award Ribbon with two oak leaf clusters; AF Good Conduct Medal with one silver oak leaf cluster; National Defense Service Medal with one bronze service star; Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Lebanon); AF Overseas Short Tour Ribbon; AF Overseas Long Tour Ribbon with two oak leaf clusters; AF Longevity Service Award Ribbon with one silver oak leaf cluster; NCO Professional Military Education Graduate Ribbon; Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon; AF Training Ribbon and the Meritorious Service Medal.
In 1990 during his assignment in Japan he was ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ. In 1993 he came to Wichita Falls, Texas on what would be his final assignment at Sheppard AFB before his retirement. In 1998 he would become the founder and Pastor of the Temple of Joy COGIC. He served God and his church faithfully and diligently until the Lord called him home. 
He served the Wichita Falls District COGIC as the Assistant District Superintendent. He served the Texas Northwest Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ as an Adjutant to the Jurisdictional Bishop, a member of the Ordination Board and the State Sunday School Superintendent. 
On March 17, 2022 Pastor Pringle exchanged time for eternity and exited this earthly existence. 
He was preceded in death by; his parents, Willie Pringle and Ida Pringle, his brothers, Willie Pringle, Freddie Pringle, James Pringle and Aaron Pringle. 
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 49 years, District Missionary Patricia Pringle, his children, Kacey Pringle, Shaun Pringle (Tiffany) and Gregory Pringle.  His grandsons, Micah, Jaden, Noah and Jaxon. His siblings, Lueida Pringle Outten and Ezelle Pringle (Jean). Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
