Beautiful inside and out Maryjo was very loving, humble and selfless. She helped and cared for any and everyone in need. She spent her life making sure everyone she loved was well taken care of. If she, had it you had it.
Surrounded with love Maryjo spent the greater part of her retired years enjoying her very large family and friends cooking full course meals for their enjoyment. Mary loved playing cards and dominos at the family events and if you weren’t careful, she would beat you.
She sacrificed her time to love nurture and care for the well-being of her family. She was the shoulder to cry on; the strength and the backbone to her family.
Maryjo was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Dickerson, her parents; Willie and Helen, her aunt, Edith Moore and her husbands; John, George and Charles. On September 5, 2021, her daughter Doris Johnson, passed away.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children; Edith Dickerson, Amelia McFan, William Dickerson, Cierra Dickerson, Lee Williams, 99 grandchildren (5 Generations) a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
