Maria Jean Gibson was born on July 11th, 1971, in Los Angeles, California, to Dorothy Ann Guria and Herbert Gibson.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Herbert, sister Janette, brothers Joseph, Jerold, and Jack.
She leaves to mourn her children, Jaeden Stone Foxe and Elanni Isabella James, her sisters; Judith and her son Miran and his husband Randy, Gloria and her daughter Ceji, Amelia and husband Tyrus, as well as their three children, Tymel, Tyler and Tristan, her brothers; David and his wife Sharon and their two children David and Brittani, Chester, Allan. Brother-in-law T.C. Hartman, his son K.C. Hartman and his wife Mistry and their three children Jasslyn, Maleiah, and T.J. Her uncles Marion Hixon Jr., and Chester Hixon. Cousins, Justine Hixon, Anthony Hixon, Joseph Hixon Jr., and many others.
A radiant and rare beauty, Maria was genuine and wore her heart on her sleeve. She brought joy and happiness to all those around her and embraced the role of being a mother with grace and pride. Dedicating herself to the well-being of her two children, her love knew no bounds, and she poured her heart into nurturing and guiding them throughout their lives. Always ready to lend a listening ear, and offer words of encouragement.
Maria possessed an incredible talent for decorating and hairstyling. With her gifted hands and an eye for beauty and fashion, she transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary. In the kitchen Maria was a culinary maestro. Her cooking and baking skills were unmatched, her meals were a feast for the senses. At family gatherings she delighted everyone with her delicious creations. Maria will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her compassionate spirit, and her ability to bring comfort to those around her. She had a way of making everyone feel special, and her absence leaves an unfillable void in our lives. There are not enough words on this earth to describe Maria, her legacy will continue to inspire us to be more loving, creative, and giving.
