Lustine Alexander Hemphill was born in Henderson, Texas, to S.D. Alexander and Nellie Alexander. She spent the majority of her life in Munday, Texas, where she became a beloved figure known for her generosity and kindness. Throughout her life, Lustine demonstrated a remarkable capacity for love and care. She welcomed everyone she met with warmth and kindness.
