Lucy Marie Culberson was born March 5, 1958 to Worth & Coretha Culberson in Lubbock, TX. She departed this life May 13, 2026. She was the 7th of 10 children. She attended elementary school in Seymour, TX and completed her high school education at Wichita Falls High School, Wichita Falls, TX.

Lucy was a lover of nature and enjoyed working in her garden . She had a green thumb and could grow anything, but she especially loved her roses. She loved fashion, hair, makeup, jewelry, and
was an excellent seamstress. She made her own clothes and also sewed for many in the community.

Lucy was vey enthusiastic about music, and enjoyed dancing, (she referred to as “jammin”).
Preceding her in death was her only child, Jonathan Fredrick Culberson; her parents, Worth Culberson & Coretha Culberson, both of Wichita Falls, TX; her brothers Charles Brisco, Lubbock, TX,
Clarence Culberson, Tulsa, OK and Jeff Culberson, Wichita Falls, TX; sisters Mary Brown, Wichita Falls, TX, Betty McMillan, Baltimore, MD, and Alberta Davis, Wichita Falls, TX.

She is survived by 2 brothers Cal Jones Wichita, KS and Worth Culberson, Jr. Wichita Falls, TX; 1 sister, Coretha Glover, Sacramento, CA.
