Lawrence Jones Obituary

Lawrence Jones was born on October 24, 1949, the third child of      six children, born to the union of the late Pastor Robert Lee Jones and Sarah Jones. Lawrence’s Uncle Mike Clement and Aunt Mary Clement played a pivotal role in raising him. He attended and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Wichita Falls, TX.


Lawrence was a member of the Mount Calvary United Methodist Church in Wichita Falls, TX. He served in the Marine Corps as a Rifleman. 


Lawrence was preceded in death by his brothers; Troy Jones and Robert Lee Jones Jr.


His life will be forever cherished in the hearts of his loving children, Daughters: Shemeka Black of Desoto, TX, Shonda Rowe (William Fitzgerald husband) of Cartersville, GA, Jene Rowe - Tampa, FL. and Lawrencia Sanders of Abilene, TX. His brother Michael Jones, Wichita Falls, TX, Two Sisters; Deborah Evans (Craig Evans husband), Fort Worth, TX and Sharon Jones, Wichita Falls, TX. Nephews & Nieces, DeRon Royster, Joi Jones, Markishia Jones, Devlonia Jones, Rachel Jones, Jennifer Jones, Sarah Jones, Jeffrey Jones, Caretaker; Tony Gould and a host of Relatives and Friends.
