Keith Randall Taylor Sr., beloved Father, Brother, and Friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 71 on June 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on AUGUST 24, 1952 in the city of LAWTON, Keith was the son of Billy and Bobbie Taylor. He grew up in a tight-knit community where he quickly gained a reputation for his kindness, integrity, and unwavering determination.
Keith was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oliver and Addie Sims, and Matthew and Mattie Taylor, parents, brothers, Bobby Gene, Billy Ramon, and Craig LaFranz Taylor.
He attended preschool and kindergarten at Newby’s kindergarten where his mother was a kindergarten teacher in his toddler years. He also attended Lawton Public Schools and CAMERON COLLEGE.
Keith enlisted in the U.S Air Force and served a tour of duty in Guam. He was later stationed at Sheppard Air Base in Wichita Falls, Texas. Beyond his literary achievements, Keith was a devoted father. He cherished his children, Keith Taylor, Keith Randall Munn, and Leisa Munn. Together, they shared countless moments.
In his free time, Keith enjoyed fishing with his son Keith Taylor II and his grandson Jacori Taylor. Whether fishing in the lakes or barbequing outside, He found peace and inspiration in the world around him. Keith will be remembered for his wild spirit, his unwavering optimism, and his profound love for life. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will continue to inspire generations to come.
He is survived by his loving children, sons, Keith Taylor II (LaKendra), Keith Randall Munn(Nicole) and Daughter Leisa Gian Munn; Siblings: Lorraine Taylor-Love, Eugenie Taylor, Dewenia Taylor-Stormer, Leisa Chappell-Taylor, and Roy Lee Tubbs, Marilyn Beamon, Kenneth Beamon with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephew and a huge circle of family friends.
Keith Taylor may have departed this world, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
