Katheryn Lynell (Wingfield) Olagundoye

Katheryn Lynell Wingfield-Olagundoye age 62, passed peacefully on Monday, May, 4 2020. Katheryn was born on November 13, 1957 in Altus, Oklahoma to the late Mattie Wingfield and Roy Wingfield, Sr.
She graduated from Hirschi High School in Wichita Falls, Texas. Katheryn previously worked as a special education teacher assistant and patient care assistant. 
Katheryn is survived by: Her husband John Olagundoye, four children; Kent Wingfield, Jr., Nicholas Wingfield, Tikisha Wingfield, and Akkeam Wingfield. One grandson Quintavion Pope, and one brother, Anthony Wingfield. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. 
Katheryn was preceded in death by her parents;  Mattie and Roy Wingfield, Sr. Brother; Roy Wingfield, Jr., her sister Carolyn Wingfield-Johnson, and nephew Coyette Wingfield. 
The family wishes to express gratitude to United Regional Hospital Staff and Hospice of Wichita Falls, family and friends.
At Katheryn’s request no formal services will be held.

Visitation will be 
John 14: 1-3 “Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.
