Johnny Ray Thomas Obituary

Johnny Ray Thomas was born on March 17, 1946 to the late Robert Lee and Ruby C Thomas in Oklaunion, Texas. He was a graduate of Harrold High School. He was known as a welder for C-E Natco Plant for over 30 years and a retired employee of the North Texas State Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and two sisters. 
Johnny Ray leaves to cherish his memory and legacy; his loving and praying wife, Mary Ann Thomas of 41 years. One sister, Clara Love (Billy) of Lancaster, TX., two brothers; Willie Thomas (Debra) of Waxahachie, TX., Howard Thomas of Lancaster, TX., two aunts; Alma Bigalow of Cameron, TX., Geneva Knight of Compton, CA., his sons; Rossie Hughes and Carlos Hughes (Kedrea), his daughters; Stephanie Hughes, Rhonda Hughes, Marilyn Mills (Amos), Dana Williams (Anthony), grandsons; Deontae Gipson and D’Rossie Hughes, granddaughters; Kasherra Hughes, Shakisha Vaughn, LaSharia Owens, Amber Hughes-Rankin, Lateria Hughes, Syncere Harrod, Antwan Williams, Brandie Harrod, Isaiah Landrum, Chloe Landrum, Jayda Hughes, Laila Hughes and two great grandchildren, Derrion Gipson, Deomani Gipson, two good friends; Johnny B. Franklin and Leroy Davis a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Johnny Ray will be missed for his continuous kindness , contagious laugh, and smile.
