John Walker Obituary

John Wesley Walker was born on June 7, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late John Wesley Walker, Sr. and Ruby Walker. He attended public schools and college in Kansas City. John was born with a hard working instinct he began working for a living at the age of 13.
In 1963 he moved to Wichita Falls and lived here until his passing on January 8, 2022.
He was employed by the Sheppard Air Force Base in the Janitorial department and in the 1980’s began his business the J&C Maintenance.
John was a christian man that and he was a member of the Agape House of Prayer from 1996 until 2021. He served as the chairman of the Usher department and was ordained a deacon by the late Bishop Mack Ingram. John served God and the church with all his heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Kevin Walker, his step father, Edward Pleasant, step daughter, Tamie Brooks, grandparents, Lelia Wayts, Frank Walker, sisters, Beverly Thurman, Claudette Carter and niece, Veronica Thomas. 
He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Charlotte Ann Walker, his children, Kimberly Hollis (Mark), Sharon Murphy (Derrick), Marcus Brown, Keneshala Brown, Erica Brown. Eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, siblings, Shirley Alexander, John Walker and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
