Jewelene Jones Obituary

The sun rose on Jewelene “Judy” Turner-Jones on December 21, 1951 and set on December 16, 2020 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was 68 years old.
She was born to the late Elijah Turner and Jessie Hill-Turner Thomas in Munday, Texas. 
Judy served many years  as a faithful servant of God at the Greater Miracle Church under the leadership of Pastor Alford J. Ailey. She later became the Senior Pastor of Rhema Family Church of Burkburnett, Texas alongside her husband;  Bishop Robert Lee Jones.
Judy and Robert were joined in Holy Matrimony on June 30, 1970 and recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. 
Before her passing she returned to Greater Miracle C.O.G.I.C.U. She loved spending time with her family, friends and taking care of others.
She worked over 40 years in the healthcare industry and was a homemaker. She offered her services to her good friend; Tona Cornelius for several years. Her last assignment before God called her home was providing care for her sister in law, Victoria Booker before her passing.
Her sons would like for everyone to know that their Mother loved God, her husband, her sons, family and her friends. She lived by those principles daily.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Elijah Turner and Jessie A. Hill Turner-Thomas, her brother; Robert Turner and her sister; Letha Faye Buckingham-Jones.
She is survived by her husband; Robert Lee Jones of Burkburnett, TX., her three sons;  Stevie Ray Turner of Gainesville, TX., Robert Q. Jones (Special Friend Suzanne Crisp) of Euless, TX. and Demetrius (Elaine) Jones of Greenville, TX., two brothers;  Michael Turner of Wichita Falls, TX. and Eugene Turner of Abilene, TX., two sisters; Berdia Turner Thompson of Abilene, TX. and Laticha Rivera. Five grandchildren; Jordan, Zyaria, Justin, Whitney (Rondell) and Kayla, four great grandchildren; Jordan, Jr., Jakayla, Trent and Chloe. Also host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
