Eric Lynn Chatman

December 8, 1968 ~ December 19, 2021 (age 53)


Eric Lynn Chatman, AKA, “Frog” was born on December 8, 1968 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Mary Elaine Chatman and Ernest Chambers known as Dumas. Eric graduated from Wichita Falls High School Class of 1987 where he excelled in Football and Basketball. He was an outstanding football player. He gave his life to Christ and had a strong faith and belief in God. 
He loved his man cave, to enter you had to have special permission. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, playing dominoes, Barbecuing, listening to T.D. Jakes sermons and last but definitely not least, Eric loved watching the Dallas Cowboys. He was a great handyman around the house and could fix just about anything. He also loved working in the Security field.
Because of Eric’s personality he never met a stranger, he was always there to help and had a big heart.
Eric was preceded in death by his parents; Mary Elaine Chatman, Ernest Chambers, and Step father, Jay Felton Grant, his grandmother, Mrs. Mary Foster, his siblings, Curtis Wayne Chatman and Cynthia Gail Chatman.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Latesha Chatman of Arlington, TX., Sons, Eric Giddens, K.C. Giddens of Dallas, TX., Eric Lynn Hughes-Chatman of Arlington, TX. and DeVontay Hughes of Wichita Falls, TX., his daughters, Antoinette Reed of Killeen, TX., Antequa Chatman of Dallas, TX., Dominique Ladilik of Arlington, TX., DeAmbra Kelley of Wichita Falls, TX. and  Teanna Elaine Littlejohn of Kileen, TX. His brothers, Antonio Smith, Bernard Chatman, Jay Grant all of Wichita Falls, TX., Jason Smith of De Soto, TX. and Mike Bradley of Wichita Falls, TX. His Sisters, Belivia Chatman of De Soto, TX., Kristy Chatman, Toni Chatman and Latoia Chatman all of Wichita Falls, TX. and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
