Elder Barry Wesley Obituary

The honorable Pastor Barry Lee Wesley Sr., 58, went to be with our Heavenly Father on September 7, 2021. Barry was born to Wilma Friend and Charles Wesley Sr. on May 25, 1963 in Talihina, Oklahoma. He was raised in Ohio and Colorado, returning to Wichita Falls, TX in his teenage years. He was an Alumni of Hirschi High School. He married the love of his life, Diane, in 1984 and had three children together. 
Barry served his country, in the Army, in 1984. He dedicated his life to Christ in 1993 and held the titles of Elder, District Evangelist, and Pastor. He held many titles of employment with his last being with NCR corporation until 2016. 
Barry enjoyed good food, worship music, family, laughter, and most of all, studying the Word of God. 
Barry is preceded in death by his parents, Wilma Friend-Childs and Charles Wesley Sr. 
Barry is survived by his wife Diane Wesley of 36 years, his three children, Kandise Wesley, Barry L Wesley Jr., and Zaneta Wesley. His grandson, Gabriel Wesley, his Mother, Mary Wesley, his brothers and sisters, Dorothy Childs, Belinda Ramirez, Deborah Childs-Vasquez, Tony Childs and Charles(Felicia)Wesley Jr. 
He will be missed by a multitude of friends and family members who loved him dearly.
