Eddie Wayne Wilkinson Jr of Wichita Falls, Texas gained his Heavenly wings on June 10, 2024 at Hospice of Wichita Falls surrounded by his family after a heroic fight against lung and throat cancer.  

Eddie was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on November 9, 1957 to Eddie Wayne Wilkinson Sr and Harvene Walker Wilkinson. Graduate of Holliday High School and retired Correctional Officer, Eddie was a lover of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers, he enjoyed spending time with his family, barbecuing, and hunting and fishing.   

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents Eddie and Harvene and his brother Danny Wilkinson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Dawn Marie Spiess Wilkinson; his sister Cindy Finn of Wichita Falls; son David Wilkinson and wife, Kristina of Wichita Falls; son Robert Wilkinson and wife Victoria of Iowa Park; daughter Alyssa Greene Wilkinson of Wichita Falls; son Shane Spiess of Eureka, Missouri; son Alexander Spiess of Wichita Falls and six grandchildren Abigail Stepp, Addison May, Meredith Wilkinson, Emilia Wilkinson, Willow Greene, and Ubbe Spiess.  

 A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 at 6:30pm at Eagles Lodge 4128 at 5396 Seymour Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76310.  Attendees are encouraged to wear Dallas Cowboys or Texas Rangers apparel.  

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
