Earl Ray Frazier Obituary

Earl Ray Frazier was born on April 30, 1977, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Burnice Frazier and Roderick Pegues. He departed this life on June 23, 2026, in Arlington, Texas.


Earl attended schools in Wichita Falls and graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1996. He was most recently employed with Daybreak Services before relocating to Arlington.


A family-oriented man, Earl deeply loved his family and friends. He cherished family gatherings and had a passion for barbecuing. With strong Christian convictions, he was a faithful member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.


Earl was an avid football fan who loved the Philadelphia Eagles. His passion for football began playing in the boys and girls club leagues and continued through his high school football career at Old High.


He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Martha Moore; paternal grandmother; Ida Pegues; aunt, Emily Walzier; uncle, Jimmy Ray Sampson; his father, Melvin Sumpter and brother, Melvin Eaden.


Earl leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Burnice Cooper (Elbert) and Roderick Pegues (Annette Pegues); his fiancé, Kristi Cook; his children, Alexsus Frazier, Jarrius Frazier, Jalisa Frazier, Javian Frazier Jaquan Frazier and Jazlyn Frazier; bonus children, Miguel Cook, Makiyah Moses, Daiquan Moses, Talayah Moses, Talaija Moses, and Dashayla Holmes; and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Chad Pegues, Marvin Eaden, De’lrae Sumpter, Nathan Pegues, Jordan Lowery, Brandi Pegues, Shaneral Sumpter, Jalen Pegues, and bonus sister, Brandie Wallace. Also a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
