On August 7, 1951 God blessed us with Dorothy Jane (Geter) Strange. She was born in Spur, Texas to the late Isiah and Lizzie Geter.
Dorothy worked in her earlier years as a bus driver, also as an insurance agent and later on became a caregiver. She was loved and respected by her peers and others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandfather, Willie Neil and grandmother, Clara Neil, her daughter, Tammy Johnson, sister, Clara Alexander and brother, Richard Jeter.
Those left to cherish her beautiful memory: her husband, Willie Strange, daughter, Serene Jeter of Dallas, TX. Her sisters; Thelma Barry of Virginia and Evelyn Vinson of Wichita Falls, TX. Her brothers, Charles, Ray and Romeal Jeter all of Wichita Falls, TX. and Isiah Geter (JoAnn) of Oklahoma City, OK. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
