Dorothy Lee (Wilkerson) Phillips

Dorothy Lee Wilkerson Phillips born  to the parentage of the late Luetta Robinson Williams and Delton Wilkerson on March 12, 1931 in Leon County, Spring Creek community Centerville, Tx, where she received her education. She also attended Vernon Regional College after working for Sprague Electric until the company closed. 
    Mother testified that she received Salvation at Hopewell Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the late Andrew Jackson. Hopewell was also Pastored by the late Bishop Neual Haynes under his leadership Mother worked diligently various auxiliaries, however her passion was soul winning. Mother would take ample opportunities to remind you; Hell is eternally hot and you should make Heaven your choice. 
A youth group was start in our home, after it expanded she was able to take it to the church formerly known as Hopewell which change to Jackson Memorial under the leadership of the late Superintendent Leroy Cleaver. 
Preceding Mother in death are her parents, Luetta Robinson Williams, Delton Wilkerson, her Sister Mae Edna Reece and other siblings. Mother leaves to mourn her passing but cherish her memory, her children Donald Phillips, Dennis Phillips, Derric Phillips, Candace Phillips Archie, Son in law Michael Archie. Her Sisters Lillian Gray, Teabertha McGowan, Teaberta Black, Six grandchildren Tre Phillips Coree Roberson, Nicholas Hammond, Codie Phillips, Aaisha Phillips, Nichelle Lea Williams, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
    Mother touched many lives in very positive ways. We are grateful for the multitude that love and respected her. She was held at a high esteem because of who she is in Christ Jesus. Her labor is not in vain. To God be the glory.
