Clifford Andrew Byrd Sr. passed away peacefully on the 27th day of October, 2024 in Wichita Falls, Texas surrounded by his family. He was born on December 9th, 1965 in Texarkana, Texas as one of ten children to Claude and Letha Byrd.
Clifford was raised and attended school in Wichita Falls and was involved in various sports. His family will remember him for the love, laughter and his funny jokes. 
He met and later married Tonia Newsome Byrd on February 12, 1994. 
The joy of his life was traveling to many different places together with his loving wife. Clifford moved to Memphis, Texas and worked for TX DOT as a Tech 3 and recently retired after 21 1/2 years of faithful service. He was a member of the New Birth Baptist Church of Wichita Falls and often traveled to be in attendance. He really loved the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Letha Byrd, his brother, Alfred Byrd and his sister, Retha Byrd.
Clifford leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, his loving wife, Tonia Byrd of Memphis, Texas, three sons; Clifford Byrd Jr., Jatavion Newsome and Christopher Giddings. Three daughters; LaToya Giddings, KeAndra Newsome and Kayla Newsome. Nine Grandchildren, Three Great grandchildren. His brother, Clarence Byrd Sr., six sisters; Von Foster, Anna Beamon, Vera Henry (Billy), Claudia Myles, Roberta Palmer and Doris Byrd. Two aunts, Rosemary Jackson (Willie), Evelyn Strahan. Also a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends.
