Carol (Reece) Williams

October 16, 1957 ~ December 11, 2020 (age 63)


Carol was born October the 16th of 1957 in Wichita Falls to the parentage of Jesse and Mae Edna Reece. It was in Wichita Falls that she received all of her formal education. He was a graduate of SH Rider High School’s class of 1976. After high school, Carol attended college at Midwestern State University. On September 26 th , 1983, Carol married the love of her life Bart Eric Williams. From this union, they were blessed with 3 daughters. She soon went on to study cosmetology. During her career she took classes to become a CNA, but has always worked and found a real sense of enjoyment working with children.
At a young age Carol received Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. She loved the Lord with her whole heart, and sought to serve the Lord in any capacity she could. She attended Jackson Memorial C.O.G.I.C. for many years where she was an active member. Carol directed the choir, taught Sunday school, assisted with vacation bible school, sunshine band, and often chaperoned youth trips along with her husband. In 1996 Carol began attending Life Tabernacle (Life Church WF) where she continued to exercise her gifts in the music department. She also participated in the women’s ministry, and was often found visiting the sick and shut in to pray with them. She attended Life Tabernacle until she was no longer able to do so due to her health.
Carol was a mighty prayer warrior, an anointed songstress, a beloved sister, a devoted wife, an appointed mother, and a true friend. Carol loved music, and interacting with those she loved. She had a great sense of humor. After falling ill with Alzheimer’s, Carol may have forgotten many things, but she never forgot how to love, laugh, be sassy, or dance to the beat of a tune; She was an amazing woman.
On December 11th , 2020, Carol went home to be with the Lord.
Carol is survived by: her daughters; Amber (Clearthur) Wise (Long Beach, CA), Mahagony Williams (Wichita Falls, Tx), and Tiffany Williams, (Wichita Falls, TX). Her siblings; Sula Mae (Pastor Paul) Coleman (Wichita Falls, TX), Dorothy Johnson (Columbia, SC), and Jesse Fred Reece, Sr. (Wichita Falls, TX). She also leaves to cherish her memory: 5 grandchildren, her mother, father, and sister in law; John and Marie Williams, and Susan Lewis, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her father; Jesse Reece, Sr., her mother; Mae Edna Reece, her sister; Cathy Reece, her brothers; Jimmie Edward Reece, and Jesse Reece, Jr. and her beloved husband; Bart Eric Williams.
