Betty Delores Taylor Perry  was a gift given to this world on April 19, 1954 in Portsmouth, Virginia to the late Ella V. Taylor and Pete Wiggins.  She attended schools in Portsmouth, completing her educational journey at S.H. Clark High School.
During her career years she worked in various vocations, she managed and supervised in the restaurant industry, was a presser in the cleaning industry, worked at the WFISD Bus Barn, she was director of the BGC Day Care on Mill St., and lastly she was the bookkeeper at the Missile Club.
Betty loved helping people, she loved to cook, loved to support others, and loved keeping a clean home. She loved and found joy in going to Walmart. Betty loved the Washington Redskins football team and loved playing cards. She loved to travel, but did not like to drive. 
Although she never had biological children of her own, she loved being around them, nurturing them and caring for them.
Betty left home over 49 years ago when she met Ray Sadler in Washington D.C. They shared their lives together in love until her passing.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Ray Sadler, her brother,  George Taylor of Portsmouth, VA.,  her paternal siblings; Sheila Wiggins, Bud Wiggins, Rita Wiggins, Larry Wiggins and Tyrone Wiggins. Children she raised as her own; Taucheanna Bingmon, Tayshaun Whittaker, LaMisha Nixon, Andre, DeVaughan Sadler and Taiwan Sadler. Two nephews; George S. Taylor and Alphonso Taylor. Her sister in laws; Emma Holder, Carolyn Smallwood and Kenneth Sadler. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
