Banna Sue Christian Obituary

In Wichita Falls, Texas on January 28, 1934 a beautiful baby girl named Banna Sue Williams was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. John Williams. She was a graduate of the historic Booker T. Washington High School, class of 1953 and attended Draughon’s Business College later that same year. Banna worked at Wichita National Linen for ten years. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Johnny Christian on September 25, 1957.
Banna began her Christian walk at the St. Matthew Baptist Church and later united with the Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church, where she used her beautiful alto voice in the Mass and Mission Choirs. She loved the Lord and served faithfully until her health began to change. She loved cooking (pound cakes and peach cobblers), helping and feeding others, listening and giving advice. Most of all she gave a lot of LOVE!!
She was preceded in death by: her sister; Johnnie Mae Reese, her brothers; Charles Leon Williams, Donald Williams and John Williams.
She leaves in God’s Care: two loving daughters; Sibyl Christian-Gale of Wichita Falls, TX., Mae K. Gurley (John) of Hooks, TX. Her brother; Tommy Williams (Jacqueline) of Germantown, TN., her grandchildren; Kobe McFadden, John Gurley, Jr., Kamil Kell (John). Twelve great grandchildren, a special niece; Rhonda Sue Reese, best friends; Janis Waldon, Bernice Clay, Christine Marquez and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
