Roy Daniel

Mr. Roy Daniel, 92, received his wings Sunday, September 30, 2018 at  the Senior Care Center while surrounded by two granddaughters.
Mr. Daniel was born September 3, 1926 in Freestone County to the late Geneva Williams and Jimmie Daniel.  He received his education in Freestone  County.  He also received God at an early age.  
In 1944 he joined the Navy where he served on the ISS Humbolt US Navy, and was honorably discharged in World War II.  He attended the facility for Veteran School of Cooking and Baking and received a Certificate of proficiency . He moved to Wichita Falls from Mexia, Texas in the 1950’s and worked at  Sheppard Air Force Base and the Statley Building.  
He desired to be an entrepreneur and started his own business in the community.  
Mr. Daniel met and married the love of his life Onetia Levingston and unto them seven daughters were born.  Preceding him in death was: his mother; Geneva Williams, his loving and devoted wife of over 50 years; Onetia L. Daniel, daughter; Gwendolyn Brown, brother; Nelson Daniel, grandson; Richard J. Gregoire,II. and granddaughter; Sonya Franklin Greenlee.  He leaves to cherish his beautiful memories: his daughters, Ruthie Holt (Fort Worth, Texas) Rose M. Brown (Midwest City, OK), Rosie N. Spencer-Emanuel (Donald) Houston, Texas; Jacquelyn Daniel Slade and Carolyn Daniel Gregoire, Dorothy Daniel Emmers (Plano, Texas), Patricia Daniel Lewis (Missouri City, Texas).
Special nephew; Gary Cooper (Fort Worth, Texas) and a very special niece; (Linda Lacy-Williams), twenty three grandchildren and fifty-five great grandchildren and a host of many other family members.
Brother-in-laws; JL Levingston(Gloria) Mexia, Texas; Oliver Levingston (Lillie) Houston, Texas; Willie Long, Houston Texas and Ruby F. Robinson (Wichita Falls, Texas).
