Robin L (Jackson) Williams

On Monday, March 25, 2019, Robin Lee Williams, loving wife and mother of four children and three grandchildren, passed away at the age of 68.  

Robin was born Robin Lee Jackson on March 12, 1951 in Monongahela, PA. to Robert Louis Jackson, Jr. and Rose Ann Purdue Jackson and was the youngest of their two children.  Robin enlisted into the United States Air Force in 1974 and served her country for nine years until 1983 after which she was honorably discharged. On October 9th 1975, she married Larry Donnell Williams.  Together they raised four children: their oldest daughter Maya, their two sons Abasi & Shomari and their youngest daughter Jamila.  

Robin had a great passion for family and community.  She wanted to change the world one heart at a time.  She loved hard and long.  She was the local mom as that is how all the friends of her children referred to her, ”Mom.”  Robin found her balance with Larry who’s laid back business deminer helped to balance her free spirit.   

Robin was preceded in death by her step-father George, her father Robert and her mother Rose Anne.  She is survived by, her husband Larry, 4 children, Maya, Abasi, Shomari & Jamila, 3 grandchildren, Nikita, Ayanna & Cato, sister Rose Mary, several nephews great nephews, great niece & cousins.
