Glenn Roye, Sr.

Glenn Riley Roye Sr., age 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 27, 2019 in Wichita Falls, Texas.   A Celebration Service for Glenn Riley Roye Sr. will be at 10 am, Saturday November 2, 2019 at Grace Church in Henrietta, Texas. Graveside services will be at 2 pm at Aurora Cemetery in Aurora, Texas.

Glenn Roye Sr. was born on December 30, 1946 in Lubbock, Texas to H.R. Harrison R Roye and Glenna A. (Green) Roye. He was raised in Blum and Idalou, Texas. He married Ella Marie (Evans) Roye on November 25, 1967 in Blum, Texas. He worked at General Dynamics 1966-1974; Willbanks Steel 1975-1980; High Rise Systems 1980-1994; AMSCO Steel 1995; recycled scrap metal 1995-2011.

Mr. Roye was preceded in death by his parents; wife; Son, Henry Elliott; brother, Howard Roye; brother, Kenneth Roye; brother, Charles Roye; sister, Elaine Matthews; sister, Louise Goolsbey; sister, Brenda Miller; grandchildren, Ansley Belle Roye; James Michael Harris.

Survivors include his son, Glenn Roye Jr. and Rose of Henrietta, Texas; son, Mark Roye of White Settlement, Texas; daughter, Vickie Harris and Robert of Newark, Texas; daughter in-law, Linda Elliott Justin, Texas; brother, Weldon Roye of Maine; sister, Kathy Hailey of Fort Worth, Texas; sister LaNell Beer; brother in law Martin Matthews of Fairfield, California; sister in law Judy Roye; grandchildren, Nathan Roye and Ashley, Riley Roye, Dylan Roye, Lindsey Roye, Tina Dawson and Jason, Harrison Roye, Michael Elliott, Nicole Elliott, Pamela Harris, Rachel Graves and Richard, Colby Harris; great grandchildren, CJ Roye, Cooper Roye, Creed Roye, Raleigh Graves, Ranger Graves; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
