Beatrice Brown Obituary

Reflections of Her Life
Beatrice N. Brown  was born in Dallas, TX, on 12/25/1925, to the late Joe Norris (Father) and Matilda McAllister (Mother). The eldest of three children, she attended school in Crosbyton,TX, before settling in Paducah, TX. Eventually, she moved to Galveston Texas, where she married and began raising her family. She worked in the food industry prior to becoming a homemaker who took great pride in caring for the needs of her family. Beatrice became mother to two children, grandmother to 8, great grandmother to 19, and great-great grandmother to more than 10 children before passing on from this earth. She obeyed the gospel at a young age, and she was a devout member of the Church of Christ when she took her last breath. She loved the Lord and He loved her.
The bringer of joy, Beatrice Brown was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She passionately embraced her role as homemaker and took tremendous pride in caring for the needs of her family and friends. She was indeed the wife and mother of noble character. To know her was to love her.
Beatrice quietly departed this life in her sleep on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, in Childress TX.
Her joyful spirit will forever be with those she left behind. Her incredible legacy of life and faith in the Lord will continue, and her laughter, life lessons, and bountiful grace will be cherished by those who knew and loved her.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Brown, two children, Ludward Jackson, Sr.“Junior”(son) and Jimmie Lee Mosley (daughter), two great grandchildren, Leslie Nicole Mosley & Felicia Mosley, her brother Otha (Bubba) Norris and sister, Irma Lee Alexander.
Beatrice is survived by the following grandchildren: Paul Mosley, Lester Mosley, Gene Mosley, Ludward Jackson, Jr., Nelsy Jackson, Irma Jackson, Jewel Jackson, and Sammy Jackson. Great grandchildren include the following: Paul Dewayne Mosley Jr., Alicia Muniz, Eric Mosley, Michelle Mosley, Rosha Ainsworth, Krystal Mosley, Kenny Jackson, Josh Jackson, Portia Jackson, Niesha Jackson, Renee Jackson, Keisha Harrold, Kiethen Harrold, Chris Bencomo, Tina Bencomo, Tyrone Bencomo, Chilo Bencomo, Sammy Jackson Jr., and Antwoine Jackson. Great-great grandchildren include Loralei Mosley, Ladarius Mosley, Leo Alexander Mosley, Lilly Mosley, Destiny Emory, Kelly Ainsworth, Krychelle Briscoe, Bryce Dancy, and several others not listed here. Additionally, Beatrice leaves behind many nieces and nephews, countless friends, and a host of brothers and sisters in Christ. Beatrice looked forward to going home to be with her Heavenly Father and Savior. Now that our beloved “aunt” and “granny” has gone home, she would want us to remember to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances for this is the will of God through Christ Jesus.
Our beautiful angel has taken flight, but she will always hover above us, laughing and “cutting up” as she guides us in our thoughts, words, and deeds.
