Obituary
Augusta Charles Penn was born on January 9, 1946 to the late Vera Hardeman in Fort Worth, Texas. He was raised by Charles and Melissa Penn. He attended Booker T. Washington High School.
He was a member of Life Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, until his health began to fail. Augusta continued his life at University Park Care Center, which he meet a host of friends who became family to him.
Augusta served his country in the United States Army from October 24, 1967 until December 13, 1971.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Mrs. Vera Hardeman, Monroe and Melissa Penn, his son; Augusta Penn, II., sister; Shirley J. Beavers, brother; Guss Hardeman, aunt; Glodene Franklin, niece; Esther Lee Hyde, nephew; James Roberts and cousin; Mae Helen.
Augusta leaves to cherish his memories: his son; Ervin Penn, his sisters; Olena Glenn (Mitch) of Atlanta, GA., Gail Hardeman of New York, NY., Charlene Tobin of Wichita Falls, TX., his brother; Robert Williams of Dallas, TX. and brother in law; Lonnie Beavers of Wichita Falls, TX., his nieces; Debra Broussard, Tabatha Williams, Lynn Brown, Zina Rankin and Tracy McClaire, his nephews; Thomas Penn (Trish), Michael Penn, Anthony Brown, Bobby Brown, Albert Rankin, Renard McClaire and a host of great nieces, nephews and cousins.
As you close your eyes in rest,
