Obituary

Tommy Joe Wallace was born March 9, 1941 in Marlin, Texas to the late Lucellis and Ella Mae Wallace. He grew up in the Marlin area and worked as a cook and a cab driver. Later he moved to Wichita Falls, Texas and was employed by the NCO Club for over 30 years.

He retired and began his own business ventures.

Tommy was instrumental in the building of the East Branch YMCA.

His love for photography guided him to start professionally taking pictures. He was affectionately called "Bulb Buster" and "Tommy the  Picture Man".

Brother Wallace was a charter member of the Church of the Living God Temple # 9, his membership and dedication spanned over 50 Years.

He was married to Mrs. Hannah Wallace on November 21, 1960.

Being a self made man he built a home for his wife and children, owned a grocery store, gas station, clubs and also a sack wagon, known as the "Yum, Yum" wagon.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 54 years; Hannah Wallace, his three daughters;  Larnice Mackey of Jarrell, Texas, Tommie Mapp of Kyle, Texas and Hannah Mollice of Wichita Falls, Texas, Eleven grandchildren, 24 great grand children, Four brothers; John L. Wallace, Rev. Jimmy Wallace and Roy Lee Wallace all of Dallas, Texas, one sister Cheryl Ann Wallace (Warren) of Dallas, Texas and a host of friends and family.
