WILLIE HARRIS JR WAS BORN MARCH 14, 1929 AND DEPARTED THIS WORLD APRIL 4, 2018. HE WAS BORN IN ASHDOWN,
ARKANSAS TO THE PARENTS OF WILLIE HARRIS SR. AND REBERITA HARRIS.

WILLIE WAS THE 7TH OF EIGHT CHILDREN
BROTHERS: PURVIS, PURR, AND PORTER
SISTERS: WANDA LEAN, MARGARET, BERTHA, AND DOROTHY

HE ATTENDED SCHOOL IN ASHDOWN AR. AND LEWISVILLE, TX. WILLIE WORKED FOR THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS FOR OVER 30 YEARS UNTIL HE RETIRED. HE WAS A DEVOTED MEMBER OF GILBERT MEMORIAL C.M.E. CHURCH FOR OVER 55 YEARS. HE WAS CALLED TO SPREAD THE WORD OF THE LORD FOR THE LAST 50 YEARS OF HIS LIFE. HE WORKED FAITHFULLY DOING THE LORD’S WORK. HE TRAVELED TO NUMEROUS CHURCHES IN DIFFERENT CITIES SPREADING HIS LOVE FOR THE LORD AND THE WORD OF GOD TO ANYONE WHO WOULD LISTEN.

HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE MINISTERS ALLIANCE.

WILLIE IS SURVIVED BY: HIS SON WALTER F. MEANS (JANICE) AND TWO DAUGHTERS VIVIAN I. BRIDGES (VOLNEY), AND 
ANGELA GULLEY.

WILLIE WAS THE PROUD GRANDFATHER OF: JAMES, TAMIEKA, MICHAEL, AND TANYA (MATT)

THREE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: DEMARCUS (CHELSIE) TIANA AND LORI.
 A DEVOTED NEPHEW: JAMES JOHNSON AND A HOST OF RELATIVES AND FRIENDS
