Obituary

Hearod Houston was born June 1, 1939 in Leon County, Texas to the late Silas Houston and Rosie Bell Brown - Houston. During his lifetime he worked as a butcher. He was a member of the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor J. C. White.

His parents, three brothers; Joe Rogers Houston, Jimmy Houston, Earl Clenon Houston, a sister; Bennie Faye Houston and his son; Tommy Earl Houston all preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his children; Ramona Houston, Kenny D. Houston and Raymond T. Houston all of Wichita Falls, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, his sister; Mrs. Johnnie Pearl Woodard - Mason, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Weep Not For Me

Weep not for me though I am gone;

I am at peace, 
my soul's at rest. 
There is no need for tears. 
For with your love I was blessed; 
for all those many years.

There is no pain,

Remember not my fight for breath; 
remember not the strife. 
Please do not dwell upon my death, 
but celebrate my life.
